Billing, Refunds, and Cancellation

1. Who is billing you

Your subscription is billed by Scale With Data, LLC, the company behind the Pulse platform, in United States dollars. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive, store, or process your full card number; Stripe holds it, and we hold only the transaction records.

Charges from us appear on your card statement under a descriptor identifying Scale With Data. If you see a charge you do not recognize, contact us at ops@scalewithdata.ai before disputing it with your bank. Every line on every invoice links to the underlying records, and we will show you exactly what produced the charge.

2. What you can be charged

Exactly six kinds of charge can appear on an invoice: your plan fee, Pulse Lines, additional brands, and the three published overages for verified sales, contacts, and recording storage. Every rate is printed on our pricing page and served by a public, versioned rate card endpoint. Plans bill monthly or annually, at your choice; overages bill monthly in arrears, and you are alerted in the application at 80 percent and again at 100 percent of an included limit before an overage can bill.

We do not charge for setup, migration, onboarding, training, support, seats, AI usage, messages, or telephony markup. Telephony is billed to you directly by your own carrier account and never passes through our invoice.

3. The free trial

New accounts start with a 30 day free trial of the full platform on the plan you picked. No fee accrues before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged, and your data remains available for export for 30 days.

4. Refunds

The invoice guarantee. If a charge of any kind other than the six published ones appears on your invoice, we refund that entire invoice. This is stated in our Terms of Service, not only here.

Billing errors. If we billed you incorrectly, we correct the invoice and refund the difference, whichever direction the error ran.

Disputed amounts. If you dispute an amount in good faith, tell us within 30 days of the invoice with the specific entries in question. We provide the underlying ledger lineage for every disputed figure, and undisputed amounts remain due. See Terms of Service Section 4.4.

Everything else. Beyond the cases above, fees for service already delivered are not refunded, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We would rather say that plainly here than have you discover it in a dispute. Refunds are issued to the original payment method; once we issue one, your card issuer typically posts it within 5 to 10 business days.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee. To cancel, email ops@scalewithdata.ai from an administrator account, or post in your account's shared Slack channel. We confirm every cancellation in writing; if you have asked to cancel and have not received that confirmation, the cancellation has not been processed yet and you should chase us.

On a monthly plan, service continues to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. On an annual plan, service continues to the end of the paid year and does not renew; the unused portion of a prepaid year is not refunded except where your order form says otherwise or applicable law requires it. Any accrued overages appear on a final invoice, because overages bill in arrears.

After termination your data is available for export in a portable format for 30 days at no charge, and is then deleted or anonymized in line with our retention schedule, except where we are required to retain records by law.

6. Card disputes and chargebacks

If something on your bill looks wrong, contact us first. We can show you the lineage behind every charge, and most disputes resolve in one message. Where a chargeback is filed, we respond to the card issuer with our records, and we will still work the underlying question with you directly.
